When using single value placeholders (especially for long text columns) a great addition would be to have formatting options so that, for instance, bullet points can be added to the text.
I concur - there are multiple uses for being able to format the individual placeholders. I think that if we put the placeholder in a bulleted or numbered list, each return character would then signify an item in that list.

or

Even better, would be to extend these options to data in tables, but that’s a different topic.
