Currently, DocuGen populates values from link column as a regular text, it would be great if it will be populated as a hyperlink that can be clicked and opened in a browser.
This request pops up from time to time, but it appears it’s becoming a more frequent need from different clients.
And here’s an idea how we can do it: in the DocuGen item view > Settings > Fields > next to the link column we could add a text box as what will be displayed in the document instead of the URL, i.e. clickable text.
Something similar to what we did the mirror columns where we added a box for units.
